Choosing a Ceremony Package On the Styles Page of this site, you can see a few examples for the content and language of a ceremony. The other key issue is, how unique would you like your ceremony to be?  We can provide anything from a 10 minute, very basic ceremony, to an elegant and completely unique 30-45 minute ceremony including customs or traditions from several religions or nationalities. It’s all a matter of what the two of you would like! We always try to reflect the ideas and personalities of each couple. Here are our three Ceremony Packages.  Each involves some personalization, performance of the ceremony at your location, and the preparation and filing of necessary legal paperwork to officially record your marriage with the government.  But each package also has it’s own features: The Private Romance Ceremony This is a small and intimate celebration, with 20 or fewer guests. It can be performed at any location arranged by the bride and groom, within 50 miles of metro Detroit.* It will be a brief ceremony (10-15 min.) in any of several styles—religious or secular (non-religious), traditional or contemporary, chosen by the bride and groom from Wedding Ceremonies- Michigan options. We will personalize the basic ceremony. Pre-wedding planning and consultation with Rev. Heilner is done by email or telephone only. Because this package is designed for small gatherings, it does not include services such as a wedding rehearsal, or special features (unity candle,  rose ceremony, etc.), or coordination with musicians or DJs.  [Features may be added, at an additional charge.}  Ceremony Fee:  $250. The Cherished Promises Ceremony This is our most popular package! It includes a complete, personalized wedding ceremony—religious, secular, or somewhere between-- traditional or contemporary in style. The ceremony will be planned, choreographed and performed at any location arranged by the bride and groom within 100 miles of metro Detroit.*  This will be a unique ceremony (20-30 minutes) written to reflect the personalities and expressed preferences of the bride and groom. It may include customs or traditions from various religions or nationalities, plus one special feature such as a Unity Candle, Handfasting, Rose, or other ceremony. [Additional features may be added for a fee of $50. each.] The package includes a face-to- face planning meeting with Rev. Heilner and unlimited email and telephone consultations.  Because these are usually larger events, the Cherished Promises package can also include conducting a wedding rehearsal with all participants prior to the wedding day, and coordination with musicians, photographers or others as needed for the smooth performance of the ceremony. This package includes filing of documents and a formal Certificate of Marriage with embossed seal, to commemorate your ceremony.  Ceremony Fee:  $400. The Celebration of Love Ceremony This is the once-and-for-all, proclaim it to the world, storybook wedding! It may last 30-45 minutes and includes everything from the Cherished Promises ceremony above, PLUS:  Custom personal vows- Rev. Ron will assist the bride and groom to write their own personal vows to each other, or will write special vows based on the bride and groom’s ideas. Unlimited features- the ceremony may include unlimited features such as Unity Candle, Sand Ceremony, Celtic Handfasting, the Rose Ceremony, Wine/Glass Ceremony, or others. A Second Face-to-face Meeting is held, to review and confirm all plans and ceremony content in advance of the wedding day. The Celebration of Love also includes writing and delivery of a Special Blessing or Grace for your rehearsal dinner or reception (if desired). You receive a Printed Keepsake copy of Your Ceremony in a protective folder.  Ceremony Fee:  $500. *Note: These are our basic packages. Special arrangements such as travel beyond designated distances, themed wedding materials, etc. will be quoted on an individual basis.
